Research on Cinnamon

In traditional Chinese medicine, Cassia cinnamon is used for colds. It’s also believed to improve energy, vitality, and circulation.  Research shows that cinnamon can soothe a scratchy throat.  In addition, significant attention is being directed toward its potential in diabetes management. Furthermore studies have suggested that cinnamon may lower blood glucose levels, increase insulin sensitivity, or improve lipid profiles. These benefits have not been demonstrated consistently, scientists are trying to understand how the effects of cinnamon may vary among different populations. Research will probably continue, given the promising results so far and because cinnamon is well tolerated, safe, and inexpensive.

In addition, cinnamon is good for your whole body, including memory associated with the taste of cinnamon and keeping a balance in temperature regulation of your body. The oil of cinnamon bark has antibacterial action, fighting staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, and thrush.
