Annual Student Earth Day Celebration 

Starting in 2024, Sawmill Hollow Organic Farm has hosted an annual Student Earth Celebration on April 22. Around 200 local elementary students visit the farm on Earth Day and participate in learning stations related to soil science, wildlife conservation, native plants, and more. Students are guided on a hike through restored native prairie and learn to identify native plants and pollinators.

We want to thank the dozens of volunteers who help us provide this opportunity to local students each year.
